Following
on from our recent article ‘Nominet Announces Best Practice Challenge
Shortlist’ (View Article) …We are thrilled
to announce that ACE IT won the nominated category ‘Best Development
Project!’
Jenny Ridge and PoL Steele attended the awards presentation dinner in the
Science Museum in London on the 9th July and were very surprised and
delighted when ACE IT came top in their category.
"The judges felt that this was a very positive project that focuses on a
real need and succeeds in managing complex partnerships to achieve its
goals."
The award is fantastic recognition of all the hard work undertaken by
Tutors, Volunteers and clients across ACE IT’s various initiatives and
programmes including the Edinburgh Silver Surfers and the Moose in the Hoose
project.
Needless to say all of us at Caledonian House decided it was a good excuse
for a party and this duly took place. The celebration was enjoyed by all the
above and a number of current and previous learners. It was good to catch up
with old friends and have the chance to enjoy ourselves once more.

industry, government, academia and in the media, both in the UK and
Internationally"
