Tribute To Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service |
As we are based locally - We would like to make
our own tribute to Firefighter Ewan Williamson who tragically
lost his life during the rescue of 20 Dalry Road residents
trapped by the fire in the Balmoral Bar on Dalry Road in the
early hours of Sunday 12th July 2009.
Our continuing thanks go to our Fire Service for their selfless
devotion to duty. We tend to take this dangerous work for
granted until accidents like this occur.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Ewan’s family and his
colleagues in the Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service.
