Edinburgh Central MSP Sarah Boyack will be visiting the ACE IT computer suite at Caledonian House on Monday 15 March 2010. An old friend of the Silver Surfers, Sarah's informal visit is intended to allow her to catch up with learners old and new and find out how ACE IT is continuing to help them to get the very most from their computers. A Free Event To Help You Save Money & Keep Warm
Friday 19th March  between 11am -and 2pm
St Brides Community Centre, 10 Orwell Terrace, Edinburgh

Many of us are facing rising household energy bills as a result of the recent global increase in energy prices... YOU could be entitled to financial help!

Come along to this free event where organisations will be on hand to offer advice on heating and insulation grants, energy efficiency measures and any other issues you may have.

Organisations attending are - Health All Round, Energy Saving Advice Centre, Citizens Advice Edinburgh - Gorgie Dalry Citizens Advice Bureau, Switchover Help Scheme, One Parent Families Scotland, ACE IT, The Moose in the Hoose project, Edinburgh Silver Surfers, Volunteer Centre Edinburgh and more!

Contact The Elderly - Edinburgh Arts Group
Contact the Elderly is a national charity that provides companionship for older people who live alone. The Edinburgh Arts Group is one of the charity’s groups and consists of about 6 older people, aged over 70 and living alone, with volunteer drivers and helpers. The group meets together to visit one of Edinburgh’s Galleries, Museums or other venues one Sunday afternoon each month. There is time for a cup of tea and a blether.

The group started last May and now everyone feels like real friends. We have one or two vacancies at present. For further Information Click Here
