The Get Up + Go programme 2009 brochure launch
on International Older People’s day, Thursday 1st October.
The Get Up +Go programme guide brings together all kinds of organisations working to encourage the over 50’s to participate in various creative activities and adult education courses. ACE IT Annual General Meeting 2009
The ACE IT annual general meeting took place on Thursday 10th September at St Colm’s Church on Dalry Road. Staff, volunteers, learners and ex learners joined with the ACE IT board and guests from local community organisations and residential care homes participating in the Moose in the Hoose project - to celebrate another fantastic year for ACE IT. After ACE IT’s success in winning the Best Development Project award in the Nominet Best Practice Challenge 2008, we were delighted to be invited by Nominet to apply to enter this year’s challenge. ACE IT were thrilled to be shortlisted as a finalist under the Best Development Project, which this year also included the BBC World Service Trust, Digital Birmingham , Rafi.Ki and Citizens Online. Faith In Older People
While we enjoy getting out and about meeting new people and compiling material for our Surfers’ website – we also enjoy inviting folk to visit us during our Tuesday web club. Traditional Christmas's

Age Concern Edinburgh AGM 2008
The ACE IT Annual General Meeting for 2007-2008 was held in St. Colm’s Church on Dalry Road on Monday 29th September 2008. Chaired by ACE IT Chairman John Elliot , a new and popular section of the meeting saw the Tutors, Volunteers and the Silver Surfers high-lighting some of the projects undertaken during the year. Launch of COPA (Centre for the Older Person’s Agenda)
