Pupils from Sciennes Primary School visit Surfers
Following
an email sent to our web site , we had a visit on 10th June from
3 pupils and their teacher from Sciennes Primary School – they
were doing a project on what older people would like in the

The
Silver Surfers attended a Seminar covering strategic development
for older people in Edinburgh hosted in the City Chambers on

Launch of COPA
(Centre for the Older Person’s Agenda)
On 8th April 2008, the Edinburgh Silver Surfers took part in the
launch of The Hub project at Queen Margaret University
The Hub is a partnership of organisations set up by The Royal
Bank of Scotland to form a Centre for the Older Person’s

Scientists at the University of Leeds

cold but bright Tuesday morning in early February saw the
Edinburgh Silver Surfers head down for a guided tour around the
new Edinburgh Council offices at Waverley Court in the city’s
