PAVEMENT AWARENESS DAY - 24th June 2008

This campaign, sponsored by Help The Aged, has come at an appropriate time as one of our own Silver Surfers recently had a very bad fall. This was caused when she tripped over a ‘Toby’ cover which was raised above the pavement and embedded in cement. This fall resulted in a very badly damaged hand, wrist, forearm and elbow (see above) which was reported to her doctor and to the appropriate council department.
